Yesterday, Thursday afternoon, September 23rd, 2021, the dispute between two residents of an asylum center was reported to the police at around 3:30 p.m.
According to previous knowledge, the two 28- and 25-year-old men of Gambian nationality had already quarreled with each other several times before. This escalated today to such an extent that the 28-year-old injured his opponent in the shoulder area with an ax.
The 25-year-old man suffered a cut as a result and was taken to a hospital for further care. There is no danger to life. The suspect has already appeared in the field of narcotics offenses. He is currently being searched for. No other residents were injured.
The background to the incident is not yet known. The criminal police conduct the further investigation.
