On Saturday, January 16, 2021, there was a high number of day tourists and winter sports enthusiasts in the entire Black Forest area. The parking spaces on the cross-country trails were full in many places, and the well-known toboggan slopes were well attended.
Despite the high number of visitors, the corona rules were largely observed. In this context, the police only had to intervene in a few individual cases.
The very numerous identifiable national license plates from all over Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, etc. were noticeable. The willingness of day tourism to be mobile seems unbroken on sunny winter days.
