The traffic accident claimed four moderately injured people on Sunday afternoon, around 3:30 p.m., on federal road 31 at the junction of the L104.
Accordingly, a car coming from the direction of Burkheim tried to drive into the B31, ignoring the right of way of a car traveling on the B31. Two adults were injured in the vehicle that caused the accident. A small child in the vehicle was uninjured. Two adults were also moderately injured in the second vehicle.
A person involved in the accident was flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter. There is no danger to life.
The main road was closed until about 5.30 p.m. until the accident vehicles were recovered and the lane was cleaned.
Both cars suffered an economic total loss of around EUR 9,000.

Serious traffic accident on the B31 near Breisach -initial report-
Due to a traffic accident in which two cars are involved, the B31 is currently completely closed in the Breisach-Hochstetten area. A diversion is set up. The traffic is diverted west at the Breisach roundabout and east at the intersection with the L104 (towards Burkheim). Road users familiar with the area are asked to drive around the area as far as possible.
The rescue operation is currently in full swing. No statement can currently be made on the extent and possible injuries.
