Yesterday at noon there was an unusual chance find during the air security check. A 48-year-old wanted to travel to Berlin with his hand luggage, but the control staff noticed inconsistencies on the screen during the hand luggage check. Then the small suitcase was examined more closely and a small bag with approx. 3 grams of marijuana was found in the inner lining. The German did not comment on the find and hiding place. The identity could be established beyond doubt by means of an identity card, even if it had already expired. No further evidence was found in the man who lived in Freiburg im Breisgau.
After completing all police measures, the person was handed over to customs for the purpose of final processing and production of the criminal complaint.
