A casino located in a large complex resort in Jeju.
On the 4th, it was confirmed that the 14.5 billion won in cash held here at the headquarters had disappeared, and the casino sued the police officer in charge of the disappearance.
Headquarters even announced the disappearance of funds on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Cash was recently discovered one after another during police investigations.
In the VIP vault, where KRW 14.5 billion was first lost, KRW 8.1 billion came from other customer vaults.
In addition, billions of won have been discovered in other places.
Police say they are confirming the money because there are some grounds that can be estimated as part of the 14.5 billion won lost.
Police are noting that the suspect, 55-year-old A, kept money in another customer’s vault in the VIP vault.
The casino side is different from the police, saying that no additional cash has ever been found except for lost money.
The suspect left last year’s holiday vacation and is currently disconnected.
The police are intensively investigating the suspect’s tracking and accomplices by analyzing the statements of the relevant person and data such as CCTV.
Along with finding the whereabouts of the lost money, we are also investigating whether this money actually existed.
