[국제]China’s Taiwan Invasion War Game “The Destruction of the Chinese and US Navy Also Suffers a Long Time”

A US think tank has released a report on war predictions that a Chinese invasion of Taiwan will cost both sides dearly.

China, blocked by the United States, would not succeed in invading Taiwan, but even the United States expected it to suffer losses that would damage its international position.

When the United States sent an Aegis destroyer to the Taiwan Strait from the new year to carry out the so-called “freedom of navigation” operation, China responded with real combat training using fighters and bombers.

As military tensions around Taiwan are unlikely to abate again this year, the US think tank CSIS has released a report on a “war game” that involved a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

If the Chinese Navy invades Taiwan in 2026, it predicts the pattern of the war.

The bottom line is that the US, China and Taiwan that all entered the war were badly damaged, but the Chinese navy was annihilated and the invasion proved unsuccessful.

The damage to the United States was also insignificant.

3,200 US troops were expected to die in just three weeks after losing two aircraft carriers and 10 to 20 battleships.

It means that China has no choice but to pay the price of victory as much as defeated China.

The report noted that an all-arms war, such as the one in Ukraine, would be impossible.

That’s because China could intercept the weapons before they reach the island nation of Taiwan.

This has made it constant for US forces to use military bases in Japan.

The report, however, did not mean that a Chinese invasion of Taiwan was inevitable and predicted that China could diplomatically isolate Taiwan or apply economic pressure instead of force.
