Considering the number of people in China, the number of confirmed cases is not large. What is the reason for such strong control?

Above all, the fact that the origin of this re-proliferation is Hebei Province, which surrounds the capital Beijing, is making China nervous.
In Beijing, the largest political event of the year is scheduled in early March, but last year it was delayed to May due to Corona 19.
In addition, there are concerns that the Lunar New Year’s movement will begin in two weeks, and if it does not catch the spread, it could spread across the country.
In this situation, 144 confirmed cases came out from mainland China yesterday and more than 100 on the third day.
Including the asymptomatic infections excluded from the confirmed case statistics, there are more than 200 people every day.

It is early to conclude, but it seems that the inflection point has not yet passed as the number of confirmed cases is increasing.
China blocked the city in four days after a confirmed case came out in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province on the 2nd.
Subsequently, neighboring cities of Xingtai and Langfang were blocked, and Wangqui County was also blocked in Heilongjiang Province in the northeast.
It blocks the access road on the highway and closes the train station to block the entire city from the outside. This is the situation for 23 million people.
Given this situation, there are many people here in Beijing who are also giving up on going out-of-town.

The city blockade can prevent spreading to the outside, but how do you stop the contagion inside the city?

China has declared a’state of war’ in all areas where the infection is spreading.
In the housing complex where the infected person came out, residents are prohibited from going out and daily necessities are delivered.
This is the Chinese method of mobilizing all resources to control infectious diseases and performing nucleic acid tests for all residents.
Shijiazhuang City has conducted nucleic acid tests twice on 11 million former residents until yesterday, and through this, it is trying to find infected people early, isolate them, and treat them.
The total test is usually conducted in a multiple test method in which 5 or 10 samples are mixed.
As the test volume increases, the number of infected people may increase, but this time, the duration of the infection is getting longer.

In some rural areas, it is said that a kind of “introduction order” has been issued to evacuate the village and leave.

Residents in 12 rural areas in Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, the epicenter of the re-proliferation of the metropolitan area, moved to quarantine facilities.
Since last Monday, 20,000 people have left the town and are being quarantined in nearby hotels or dormitories.
Due to the nature of rural villages, it was not well controlled, so we decided that it would be better to collect all the residents in a facility and isolate them.
Shijiazhuang City is temporarily building a large prefabricated building in Gaocheng District to serve as a containment facility.
It is said to have 3,000 rooms, and it is reminiscent of the urgent establishment of a temporary field hospital in Wuhan about 10 days ago a year ago.

In this situation, the WHO investigation team arrived in Wuhan, China yesterday. Are the investigation teams currently in quarantine?

Yesterday, 10 World Health Organization experts arrived in Wuhan, where they were tested shortly after arriving at the airport, followed by two weeks of quarantine.
Even during the quarantine period, videoconferencing with Chinese experts is said, but half of the planned period of stay will be in quarantine.
The purpose of the World Health Organization’s visit to Wuhan is to clarify the origin of Corona 19, and experts from nine countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Russia and Vietnam are participating in the investigation team.
China is claiming that Wuhan was the first to report Corona 19 and not the first outbreak.
Targeting the United States or Italy, it is a position that other countries should also be investigated, so controversy is expected during the investigation process.
