VADC asks to refer to 0 rhesus negative blood group donors / Article / LSM.lv

The National Blood Donor Center (VADC) is asking to refer to 0 rhesus negative blood group donors. It is also necessary to replenish the collection with blood of 0 rhesus positive, as well as rhesus A negative and positive blood groups.

Blood can be donated at VADC Sēlpils Street 9, Donor Reception Site at Merkela Street 11, as well as at the Riga East Clinical University Hospital (RAKUS) hospital “Gaiļezers” and other blood preparation departments throughout Latvia.

VADC specialized bus will be waiting for donors this week in several places in Riga:

• On July 14 at the shopping center (shopping center) IKEA, Biķeru Street 2, Dreiliņi, from 12 to 14
• July 15 at the shopping center (t / c) “Alfa”, Brīvības gatve 372, Riga, from 10 to 14;
• July 17 at the shopping center (shopping center) “Riga plaza”, Mūkusalas street 71, Riga, from 10 to 14.

Also, the field team of the donor center on July 14 from 9 to 13 will be in Sigulda and Jēkabpils, but on July 16 from 10 to 14 in Dzērbene.

To donate blood, you must bring an identity document – a passport or eID card. In order to save time, the donor’s application and questionnaire can be filled in in advance – in electronic format.
