He then spent 42 years working for the State Railroad Company, but always dreamed of being able to study at the university.
Three years ago he enrolled in the University of Palermo and passed all the exams with excellent marks.
And ignoring the quarantine imposed on Italy to combat coronavirus pandemic, Giuseppe Paternò He gave the latest evidence by videoconference and presented his final work, dedicated to a philosophical argument.
“I never tire and I tell young people that they have to do like me. Always keep studying, because the only thing I regret is not having done it while I was young ”, said Giuseppe Paternò, who is already preparing to enroll in a master’s program.
